Article IX

ARTICLE IX. PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY

A. The Party will follow a parliamentary procedure for Party meetings and the handling of Party business. This protocol will be referred to as the “Parliamentary Authority”.

B. The Parliamentary Authority shall be adopted by the Party following the procedure for proposals defined in Article VII, and may be amended by the body following the amendatory process defined in Article VIII.

C. Robert’s Rules of Order shall be the Parliamentary Authority protocol until such time as a Parliamentary Authority is adopted by the Party in accordance with Section B.

D. At no time may the Parliamentary Authority supersede the provisions outlined in the Bylaws.

E. Copies of the Parliamentary Authority shall be provided to all members of the Party, and all amendments to said authority will be communicated to the members in writing.
